GS-8 Term Gets Promoted to GS-9 Permanent Budget Position GS-8 Term Gets Promoted to GS-9 Permanent Budget Position GS-8 Term Gets Promoted to GS-9 Permanent Budget Position The Resume Place created my original resume and then updated it once I had my new position at Ft. Detrick. In March 2012 I started sending out resumes (due to my term status) and after about 5 months I had not had any action so I decided to have Amy update my resume. No sense continuing to send out applications if my resume was not achieving results. With your rewrite, I had an interview in early October and was hired within two weeks. Ive also received calls for three more interviews. Date Hired: November 2011 Jobseeker Type: Federal to Federal Previous Job Title: Budget Analyst, US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, GS-08 New Job Title: Budget Analyst, Nutrition Services Department, Walter Reed National Military Center, GS-0560-09 Writer/Coach: Amy Connelly Strategy/Process: The Resume Place had created the clients federal resume which resulted in his Budget Analyst position. A rewrite was then needed to include the clients budget experience, ensuring key words and phrases were incorporated and also updating his overall resume to include information about the series. Also, we ensured that his accomplishments were highlighted and added details of his recent performance appraisals along with core skills and knowledge. The client applied to a few positions and received best qualified (BQ) on his applications which then led to interviews and a new federal position.
